TruCut serves customers with application support and supplies to Pan India from facility in Chennai and through a dealer network, offering the best carbide-cutting tools for various metalworking industries. Our 15,000 sq. ft. production facility in Chennai has advanced CNC Tool grinding and Tool inspection machines.

This facility ensures that every tool meets stringent quality standards. Our approach ensures that the customers benefit from significant savings and increased productivity over time.

We must use the right tools or techniques to collect, analyze and use feedback effectively. Q. How do you foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality within your team?

TruCut encourages all employees to improve their skills and knowledge. We arrange the proper training to all the employees on monthly basis because building a culture of continuous improvement is our intentional.

It has to be grounded in principles, supported by tools and processes and reinforced with incentives.

After the training, all the employees put guided principles into action. This is facilitated by the processes and tools that are implemented to manifest culture. Hence, it’s crucial to note that this will require an investment of time and resources to achieve tangible results.

Incentives & Rewards also based on the criteria aligned with the company’s goals. Likewise, employees must be recognized for their efforts and constantly encouraged to find new ways to eliminate rejection and improve process.

Q. What are some of the biggest challenges you face in the cutting tool manufacturing industry, and how do you address them?

Product life cycle: The increasing demand for more specific and niche application solutions requires greater customization of products, making the life cycle of some shorter than usual.

Use of 5-axis & 7-axis Machines, and advanced software programming functions assisted by CAD/CAM virtual simulation. This allows us to be more precise with our nesting, meaning
that we can use the process more efficiently. Not only in terms of maximizing its use, but also by generating less rejection.

Short delivery times: The main challenge is to deliver orders in record time. We need to increase process automation and start using the advanced machines.

Inventory control: Inventory control is fast becoming one of the most important aspects manufacturing industry challenges. Whether it’s raw materials or finished goods, we need real-time visibility into exactly what inventory we have and where it is. Inventories are always a risk as they restrict capital, making efficiency and turnover quantity difficult.
