CoroMill® 178 – Cylindrical Tool For Power Skiving
The CoroMill® 178 power skiving concept now features a cylindrical tool, available in three different substrates for gear machining in three different application areas: steel, hardened steel and HRSA.
In multi-task machines, CoroMill® 178 cylindrical tool allows for one set-up machining, which will help saving time and reducing costs. At the same time, quality is never compromised thanks to the exceptional accuracy in run-out, pitch and output, with an outstanding finishing profile.

- Shank tool with centre coolant channel to prevent chip jamming
- De-brazing and re-brazing for increased sustainability
- The length of the shank is customizable—up to six times the diameter reach
